Powered Hand Tools General Awareness is the course designed to create awareness of safety measures and protective systems for working with Powered Hand Tools.

NOTE:  Some additional training may be necessary to meet actual site-specific requirements.

 

Recommended For

All construction and contracted maintenance and services personnel involved in working with and/or  around powered hand tools.

 

Course Content

This course includes discussion of the following topics:

  • Safety and Inspection
  • Electric Drills / Hammer and Rotary Drills
  • Circular Saws / Band Saws
  • Saber Saws / Reciprocating Saws
  • Miter/Cut-Off Saws
  • Grinders
  • Pneumatic, Hydraulic, liquid Fuel and Powder-Actuated Tools
  • Tool Boxes
