Scaffold User (Houston) is the course designed by the Houston Area Safety Council to teach scaffold construction and safety standards.

 

Recommended For

All construction and contracted maintenance and services personnel who will be working on or around scaffolding.

 

Course Content

This course includes discussion of the following topics:

  • How to identify parts of a scaffold
  • How to inspect a scaffold to ensure safe construction
  • How to use a checklist of safe construction restating the OSHA General Industry Standards for Scaffolds
