Course InformationBasic Orientation Plus (BOP) (ARSC) was developed by the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC) as an awareness-level general safety orientation for the construction and contracted maintenance/services industry. Course ContentUpon completion of this course, the student will be able to describe general safety rules, regulations, practices, and principles needed to identify and eliminate, reduce, or control hazards in the workplace in order to protect against occupational exposure to possible injury, illness, or death.
NOTE: This program is not meant to provide site location specific, job specific, or OSHA task specific training. It is the responsibility of the employer to provide job specific and task specific training. Additional site-specific training may be required for each facility where work will be performed.
