Excavation Safety Awareness is the course designed to create awareness of the OSHA Standard for Excavation Work and to show workers how to comply with the Standard and keep themselves and fellow workers safe.

NOTE:
Some additional training may be necessary to meet actual site-specific requirements.

 

Recommended For

All construction and contracted maintenance and services personnel involved in working in or around excavations.

  • Basics of Excavation Safety
  • Specific Requirements for Excavations
  • Causes of Excavation Cave-Ins
  • Soil Classification and Soil Tests
  • Excavation Protection
