Course Information

Westar Contractor Safety Orientation – Coal-Fired Facilities is the site-specific safety orientation for contractors who will be performing work in Westar’s coal-fired facilities, which include Jeffrey, Lawrence, and Tecumseh facilities.

NOTE: Students must have a currently valid PowerSafe Generation or PowerSafe Generation Refresher documentation prior to taking this course. In addition, course 12CODUST Combustible Dust Awareness for Coal – PRB must be taken prior to working in these facilities.

 

Recommended For

All construction and contracted maintenance and services personnel who will be working at this site.
