Course Information

Shell/Motiva Norco Site Orientation is the site-specific orientation for the Shell Chemical Motiva facility in Norco, LA.

Students must have an ARSC card (BOP/BOPR), valid within the past 3 years, prior to taking this course.

 

Recommended For

All construction and contracted maintenance and services personnel who will be working at this site.

Passing Score Required: 80%
Retakes Allowed: Yes, 2 retakes allowed, but must pay for each retake

Reader Assistance Allowed: Yes. Individual must have prior approval from Shell/Motiva Management. OK to accept Read Assist BOP card.
ID Requirements: Students must present a valid (not expired) U.S. State or Federal ID with photo and separate Social Security card if social security number is not on the ID – No Exceptions

Valid ARSC Card (BOP/BOPR): Yes, within the last 3 years
Social Security Verification (SSV): Yes
Background Screen: TWIC badge required – no exceptions
Medical Services: Verify that the trainee’s company has established the necessary contracts with the following Shell/Motiva approved vendors for employee drug screens:
